During our 14 days of self-isolation, we were trying to adopt to jet lag, and day to day life is pretty much the same . It was snowing one day in late March with the temperature of minus 7 degrees. Snow was all over the trees at the backyard and the roof of our neighbors. Even though it was warm inside the house with the indoor heating system, I started to understand why many people having second thoughts moving to Canada. Many of you have known that Canada is a country that promotes Honours System. During our 14 days of self isolation, we did not received any calls or visited by the responsible authorities to trace our condition & situation. The only time we were requested to acknowledge our responsibility was when we were passing the customs at the airport. Then the 14 days passed pretty soon. (with comments of contempt and appreciation on the government efforts around us) On the first day we completed our 14 days of self isolation, we decided to visit COSTCO. Before entering the warehouse, there was a 30 minute queue outside the door due to the store traffic control and practice of social distancing. We bought a pack of awesome steak and replenished the daily necessities for the coming week (after draining our wallet 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️), and prepare to continue with the "stay at home" journey.
